A Great Way to Spend Your Summer!
Volunteer as a lifeguard at the Chebeague Recreation Center this summer. You can make a difference in the community AND earn a $1500 or a $2000 scholarship towards the school of your choice!
Lifeguards from the mainland are welcome! Staff traveling from the mainland will commute on the ferry and generally use bicycles to get to the pool. The CRC provides ferry tickets to those who commute.
- Become a Red Cross certified lifeguard. The CRC will fund your training and certification
- Earn money towards your future education
- Develop leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Gain valuable work experience and build your resume!
