10:00am - 12:00pm 389 South Road No experience necessary! This 2-hour class is perfect for beginners or those relatively new to chainsaws. Participants will learn basic safety protocol for use of a chainsaw and related equipment. Participants will be trained on use with a battery-operated chainsaw. |

Safety equipment will be required while handling a chainsaw; this includes eye protection, leather gloves, and heavy or steel-toed boots. If you have equipment, please bring it, or equipment will be provided. Other safety equipment will be available to borrow, including ear protection, helmets, and chaps.
This class does cover cutting wood but does not cover cutting down large trees! This event will take place at Eliza Jane Adams's house at 389 South Road. $15 for CRC members | $20 for non-members |
